Empowering Professional Growth through Certification Reimbursement

In today's competitive job market, continuous learning and professional development are essential for career advancement. Incisive recognizes the value of investing in our consultants’ personal growth and offers a certification and training reimbursement program for those who have been with the company for one year.

Incisive understands that there are costs associated with obtaining new certifications, whether new Epic certifications or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, and we are invested in our employees’ long-term success and development. Our reimbursement program enables consultants to focus on their studies and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to acquiring new skills and knowledge, without worrying about the financial implications.

By obtaining additional certifications, consultants enhance their professional credibility, making them more marketable to clients. In many cases, added certifications act as tangible proof of consultants’ commitment to continuous learning, mastery of Epic, and gives the chance to explore new areas of specialization. These certifications can bolster consultants’ resumes, making them stand out among their peers and increasing their chances of securing new opportunities.

“Thanks to Incisive’s Certification Reimbursement program, I was able to attend one of the first certification courses for one of Epic’s newest applications. Not only will this benefit this client and future clients by ensuring that I am the subject matter expert that Incisive promises, but also promotes my career marketability to meet the demand as this application matures.” Said Jenny Mitchell, Senior Consultant with Incisive Consultants.

Incisive wants to empower consultants to take charge of their professional growth and development. We hope our certification reimbursement program allows consultants to enhance their credibility, marketability, and expertise. By investing in additional certifications, consultants equip themselves with the necessary skills to navigate the ever-changing professional landscape successfully.

Tech Tip

Increase Productivity with Screen Real Estate

Investing in and setting up a second (or third) computer monitor can save up to two and a half hours of work each day, according to a study done by the University of Utah.

It is no secret that most of us spend each day working in front of our computers. Many find it challenging to stay focused, motivated, and productive while working from home. One way to boost productivity is by using two (or three) monitors.

Using two monitors may seem like a simple solution, but it can make a significant difference in work performance. According to a study published by the University of Utah, a second monitor can save each employee 2.5 hours each day if they use it for all their tasks.

Considered an industry standard for most technical roles, dual monitor setups have reached a more mainstream audience since the COVID-19 pandemic saw many working from home. With two screens, there is more screen real estate to work with, meaning users can see more information at once without having to switch between different windows. This can save time and help employees stay focused on the task at hand.

“On my desk I have three screens, synchronized to form a single desktop. Once you have that large display area, you'll never go back, because it has a direct impact on productivity,” said Bill Gates on his own personal workstation setup.

Using two monitors can reduce eye strain. Font sizes and display settings can be adjusted to make reading, writing, working, and designing more comfortable. This can reduce the risk of eye fatigue and headaches, allowing end users to work for longer periods without feeling exhausted.

Setting up two monitors is easy, and most computers support dual-monitor setups. All that is required is a second monitor to connect to the computer.

With a small investment in a second monitor, many of us can improve work performance and achieve more in less time.
